To My Friend’s Blog
Dear Blog,
I don’t care. I really don’t.
I regret adding you to my RSS feed, and I would remove you in a heartbeat except she would know, and she would call me in tears asking why I’d done that to her, since her Google ranking is low enough as it is.
I don’t care how many headlines you have with the words “SHOCKER” or “SCANDAL,” because nothing you say will ever shock or scandalize me. Watching Gilmore Girls isn’t scandalous. Nor is drinking a glass of wine on a Thursday night. Please stop trying.
I don’t like you. In fact, to be honest, I’m mostly embarrassed on her behalf. I wish I didn’t know that she pines for her local coffee barista. The icky details about her latest cold were almost too much to bear. And rather than sympathy, I just feel awkward knowing about her anger towards her mother. I really wish this information weren’t in my head.
Finally, I think you should know that despite her pleas - and even though I said otherwise - I will not be leaving you a comment any time soon. I don’t want to encourage her, and neither should you.

[...] Hi guys! I’m back! My name is still Nicole, lol. I must say, I’ve made quite a bit of progress in my quest to find my birth parents. Not that I have any leads or anything, but I’ve already found a tons of links and tips on how to find your birth parents. So at least I’ve started and I’m not completely helpless and I have some tools. I hate not having control over my life or whatever’s going on with me. This website is a way for me to grab control and also to give you guys, my readers, control of your lives. And that control comes in the form of people search. People search allows us to find old relatives and friends, and even, hopefully, birth parents. And by finding people, we enrich our lives. Okay, I’ll shut up now. But first, here’s some funny stuff from Rant Farm - To My Friend’s Blog. [...]
